Talk to the desk before the trailer is loaded
Most problems are cheaper to solve on paper than on the highway. Send a short brief with the cargo, the addresses and the timing, and the desk will reply with a route draft, a strap count and a realistic window. Bds Truckline Ltd. answers during business hours and keeps a note of every enquiry.

Outside business hours, send an email and the desk will answer on the next working morning. Weather delays on prairie routes are posted to the route board as soon as the forecast is firm.
Three questions the desk hears most
Scheduled freight loads are best booked a week ahead so the trailer class and the driver rotation can be confirmed. Farm machinery moves and seasonal contract blocks should be reserved several weeks out, especially around harvest and freeze-up. Urgent short hauls are sometimes possible on a day of notice, but the desk will tell you plainly when the calendar has no room.
Give the cargo dimensions and approximate weight, whether it is palletised or loose, the loading address with any access limits, the delivery address and the window that matters. A photograph of the yard entrance helps more than a long description. With that information the desk can choose a strap plan and a route before the first phone call is returned.
The desk focuses on the regional corridors around Warman, Martensville, Osler, Delisle and Saskatoon, because short hauls let the same crew and trailer stay close to the records they built. Longer movements can be discussed when the cargo suits the equipment, and the desk will say so honestly if a route falls outside a sensible range.
